🌆Post 3: Describing My Hometown: Medellín

Medellín is my hometown. It is known as the "eternal spring city" because of its perfect weather. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains and full of friendly and hardworking people.

Some of the most famous places in Medellín are Cerro NutibaraParque ArvíExplora ParkPlaza Botero (with the famous "fat sculptures"), La Comuna 13, and El Hueco for shopping. We also have an excellent public transport system, including the Metro and cable cars.

I would compare Medellín to cities like Seoul or Tokyo because it's modern, clean, full of energy and culture.

One of the most important events here is the Feria de las Flores (Flower Festival). It is a colorful celebration with parades, music, and beautiful flower arrangements carried on people's backs called silletas. It shows our culture and love for flowers and nature.

What I love the most about living in Medellín is the places, the people, the food, and the transport system. I definitely recommend it to any tourist who wants to discover a city full of history, color, and life.
